Step by Step instructions to upgrade LabSat 2

Upgrade your firmware

• Download the Racelogic Upgrader software that is used to upgrade your LabSat 2.
• Unzip and install the software by running the Setup executable file.
• Plug the upgrade jumper (RLACS161) into the LabSat 2 D-type connector.
• Connect the power supply to the LabSat 2.
• Connect the mini-USB cable between the "GPS Monitor" port on the LabSat 2 and the computer.
• Download the latest LabSat 2 firmware.
• Unzip and double click on the firmware upgrade .RUF file.
• The upgrade process will start automatically once you have confirmed that the upgrade pin has been grounded in step 3.
  
• Once complete, remove the RLACS161 jumper and power cycle the LabSat 2.
  

Upgrade your LabSat 2 software to use the new features

• Download the latest LabSat Software.
• Unzip and install the software by running the Setup executable file.
• Ensure the USB cable is connected to the Data port on the LabSat and run the new LabSat software from the Start Menu.
